How many of us would like to give our candidates a few words of advice so that they'll be more successful, present or negotiate better, just make a better candidate?
From my observations, there are a lot among even these numbers who want to say something but do not for a mixture of reasons.
Well, I here to tell you that it is possible to offer those words of advice -- from a distance. You can write a 200-300 word
career tip. It needn't be the groundbreaking best-seller. Just a few words that remind, encourage, coach, inspire, or counsel.
The career tips for job seekers and career advancers are published on the first and third Saturday of each month. For those who contribute this content, I offer byline credit, a link back to your website or blog (or both), a 3-4 sentence bio, and contact information. Then the feed is sprinkled about the Net as RSS feed.
There may be some of you who would prefer to write
tips for recruiters. There's a place for those, under the same terms. Recruiting tips are published on the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
With regard to the tips, please send them to me first so that they can be proofread, approved as appropriate content, and so on.
